ABOUT marie

My Art practice is where I find a balance within the interwoven aspects of being, doing, feeling, and communicating. I like to explore different mediums, observe the organic shapes of nature, internalize experiences, and express them freely. Including abstraction, playfulness, and meditation, in a timeless zone, my creativity grows and brings me into the discovery of spontaneously made images and objects; it is a never ending adventure. The energy of the constant wish to create, combined with the uniqueness of each resulting art work, opens to a sense of infinity. I have been interested in visual arts and in all the arts in general for as long as I can remember. I was born in Montreal, Quebec and moved to British Columbia in 1994. I received my Bachelor of Fine Art with a major in Studio Arts, from Concordia University.
